Orbital Defenses, Oh My

So, yet again, came in this week with very little intention of doing new hardmodes till we get Yogg down. And again leave the starting night very surprised, 3 towers down on FL. Didn't plan on putting this up as news, but it's been requested and Skylla found an awesome pic to go with it. So, enjoy. And 4 towers may be coming soon, depending on time restraints.

Devestation!

Tonight we toppled two towers on Flame Leviathon. Felt it was news-worthy because it's a decent milestone, and it came at a total surprise for me as well. Showed up to raid tonight with very little thoughts of trying some new hardmodes til we finish the place to begin with. But a few people were very determined to give it a shot so we figured what the hell and did so. Since the first attempt went so well we gave it a couple more and completed it pretty easily.

The key is definitely related to the Demolisher and Chopper driver skill. That pyrite stacking is so crucial, and with one or two ranged being launched for turret destruction it is very important that the choppers pick them up and heal them. Learned a lot in just a couple attempts tonight and I foresee 3 towers not being too far off. If we can focus on 4 or even all Demo's on full 10-stacks, that damage output would be incredible.

Vezax Leads No More

After a hard night of synching with a beautiful strategy we laid the general to waste. With a bit more gear, especially in key locations, it will become a far easier encounter in the future. I'm sure it was fun for Eilisper to hand out loot at mach5 cause someone wandered into Sara's room and began the Yogg encounter. Razz

Great night of hard work and everyone should feel good even after some hiccups. Heres the ugly foo for everyones... enjoyment.

Boy He Grows Up Fast

So last night we went in with a bit of a make-shift posse. Had to have a couple people go dual-spec and put some of their offspec gear to use. Got our shakes out during Auriya and moved on to decimate Mimiron's masterpiece. Not a bad start to the night getting him to phase 4 on the very first attempt. Just had to get some of the kinks out and I had to keep a better eye on the Aerial Command Unit so we didn't kill everything else while it was still at 250k.

Shocking Good Time

So, after a night and a half of learning Thorim we went in last night and one-shot him fairly smoothly. After that we went and spent some time on Mimiron and made a pit-stop to go clean up Vault of Archavon for some easy upgrades. Mimiron went fantastic, phase 3 on first attempt and got him to phase 4 after a few more attempts. He will be going down shortly as well then it's off to the really challenging bosses.

After that is hardmodes and achievements. Wee.
